Chris Rackauckas is postdoctural scholar at he University of California, Irvine where he recently received his Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics. Additionally, he is a senior research analyst at the Center for Translation Medicine in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and will be starting as an applied mathematics instructor at MIT in January. Chris is the lead developer of the JuliaDiffEq organization which includes packages like DifferentialEquations.jl and Sundials.jl, and is the principle author of many other popular packages such as ParallelDataTransfer.jl. Chris is also actively engaged in the Julia community as the author of the StochasticLifestyle blog and the tutorial “A Deep Introduction to Julia for Data Science and Scientific Computing".
